Rheumatology Trials Review is designed to inform the reader of the most recent advances in rheumatic disease therapeutics brought about by clinical trials, covering commonly encountered illnesses such as gout, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as less commonly encountered conditions such as Behçet's disease or vasculitis. The authors may not draw the same conclusions as the investigators in each trial; the authors put the studies into the context of other trials in the same disease, and tell the reader just how persuasive the evidence is for a therapeutic effect, comparing and contrasting the evidence for benefit from like or similar therapies.
